The mission of Coffee & Corks: to give hope to homeless youth in Pierce County.

Youth on the streets battle depression, isolation, addiction, and trauma. Homelessness is commonly associated with adults. But in Pierce county hundreds of youth ages 13-25 years are living on the streets, couch surfing or living in temporary shelter.

In August of 2019, the Coffee Oasis opened Serra House. Located in Tacoma, Washington, Serra House is the first emergency underage youth shelter in Pierce County. At Serra House, homeless and at-risk youth receive quality care and a continuum of services so that they are no longer merely surviving, but gradually, and with new hope, they are thriving. 

This special virtual event raises funding to support Serra House and services for homeless and at-risk youth in Pierce County.
